Findon One-Name Study

There are at least five distinct Findon families in the USA each being directly descended from either :

• William Findon
  William was born in 1799 at Bourton on Dunsmore, Warwickshire subsequently married Jane

• Frederick Findon
  Frederick was born in England in 1804 and subsequently married about 1827 in New Jersey

• John Findon
  John was born in Wellesbourne, Warwickshire in 1802 and subsequently married Maria Glover
• George Ernest Findon
  George was born in New Jersey in about 1851
• Frederick Harry Findon
  who left England with his wife, daughter and four sons in about 1886.

The Findon families in Canada are the direct descendants of

• Job Findon & John Findon
  Job and John were two brothers, born in 1851 and 1853 respectively at Wellesbourne, Warwickshire.
